Brad Dutz attended the University of North Texas and Berklee College of Music. He has performed and recorded with artists that include Alanis Morrisette, Kiss, Willie Nelson, Lee Ann Rhymes, Rickie Lee Jones, Terrence Trent D'Arby, Maynard Ferguson, Tribal Tech, David Benoit, Rick Braun, Vinny Golia, Mitch Forman, Hands Onsemble, and even Jeff Bridges. His recording credits also include the films "Hildalgo", "Prince of Egypt", "The Incredible Hulk", "Rugrats Go Wild", "Star Trek 5", "Ocean's Eleven", "Hollywood Homicide", "Run Down", "I Spy", the IMAX films "Mysteries of Egypt", "Mount Kilamanjaro", "Amazon" and "Island of Sharks", as well such TV shows as "King of the Hill", "Muppet Christmas", "Enterprise" and "Firefly".

Aside from performing as a sideman on 210 CDs (!) and co-producing twelve CDs, Brad has recorded nine of his own which can be found at http://www.rhythmweb.com/dutz/cds.htm. As an educator, Brad travels the world doing clinics and has been a faculty member at Cal State Long Beach for the past seven years. In addition, he has made eight instructional videos for Warner Brothers and Interworld, as well as two instructional books. His endorsements include Vic Firth, Remo, Yamaha, Paiste and Mountain Rhythm.
